Tape drives are designed to provide safety back-ups of any digital material. It is not quite as plug and play as it should be but we will show you how to use it or you can use it on site with one of our computers.
This little gizmo is very easy to use. You plug the SDI cable from the recorder into one end and the USB or Thunderbolt cable into the other end and then to your computer. Download the software and then simply ingest your video.
Plays back standard 8mm film with a mono audio track. In my opinion you will not find a better option for visual or audio fidelity.

Because of the transport mechanism design I would only recommend using it with undamaged film.
This is a good option for Super 8mm film playback and has a twin track audio playback facility.
